Zone 23 Youth Services Resource Group

Mission Statement: The 2007-08 Youth Services Resource Group will provide information and support for Rotary clubs and districts in programs, projects and activities that serve youth in their communities. It shall promote and grow Interact, RYLA and Youth Exchange at the local level. Serve as a resource to: - Establish bi-directional and interactive communication between area and zone coordinators and districts; - Promote/encourage linkages between Youth Services and the other 2007-08 resource groups; - Obtain relevant data from zones on the current state of youth programs in the districts; - Motivate Rotarians to improve upon current state through marketing and promotion; - Encourage opportunities for recognition of outstanding program participation at district and zone level; - Identify outstanding current and former Interactors, RYLArians, Youth Exchange students and refer to RI staff for pool of potential speakers; - Make recommendations to RI at the end of the 2007-08 year for modifications needed for the next year.
Resource Center 18-Oct-07 Rotary Zone 23/24 Ethics Task Force It is envisioned that the Ethics Task Force will provide methods for use by districts to encourage ethics-emphasis particularly within their Interact and RYLA programs.
